From Speech teacher Amy Bilson:

May is Better Hearing and Speech Month! Since 1927, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association has celebrated Better Hearing and Speech Month each May to raise public awareness of speech and language disorders that affect 14 million Americans. The Speech-Language Department will be doing a variety of activities to help celebrate Better Hearing and Speech Month. Look for displays and posters in the hallways, a student poster contest, activities within therapy sessions, and flyers handed out to teachers and staff. For more information on this annual event, please visit the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's (ASHA) website at www.asha.org. Don't miss out on the opportunity to promote better hearing and speech where you are!
