DiPietro Drops Out Of Town of Aurora Supervisor Race

EastAurora.Org has learned that former East Aurora Mayor David DiPietro has dropped his name from consideration for the Town of Aurora Supervisor Republican nomination.

DiPietro lost the last mayor election to newcomer Clark Crook. He also ran for Dale Volker's seat in the New York State senate and actually won Erie County but lost the election.

That leaves current Supervisor Dwight Drieger, David Foley, Sue Freiss, Jolene Jeffe, and former Supervisor Thomas Cotton as the remaining candidates seeking the Republican nomination.

No word yet on whether the Democrats have any candidates as of yet.
