Hello, I recently stayed at the Hampton and I had the pleasure of eating there 2 times during my stay , I brought my laptop into the bar to do some work and they had no problem at all. I had your Sushi, what a variety, It's a rare find, esp. in the small towns that I hav traveled. I have been to neighboring taverns and fine dining but none were as layed back. I will dine there again in May and look forward to the patio the bartender spoke of. Kudos Infusion !! great name.

I agree. I have been there for dinner. They accomodated 4 of us. It is a fresh new decor and I have to agree fully the dinners are great. We need more in our village. It seems that more places have come and gone through that building. Remember Dons Spag House....?? Oh my ! Now they have a arts & craft store a business and a new resturaunt, finally, not sure if its all the same owners though. I also have passed by in the evening and Infusion lights up that corner again. I mean really... how many times can we go to Pasquales & the Bar Bill. good msg B77, check out the other reviews.

Dear Mr. Pagliaccio:
this is what I said..."Pagliaccio said that when businesses open up in our community they should be aware of the environment and should not look to things like the ice rink or anything else to help subsidize their business. It is up to them to make their businesses work." that is what you said. My interpretation and opinion are your comments formed the foundation of the article. Please respond with what you actually meant by your comments at the meet the candidate event. edited by administrator on 3/8/2008

Hi town , I'm a village patron and I have to say it's nice to see a new face in town. I have ate at Infusion on the east end of main st. and its been great. There service is wonderfully friendly. There food is to say the least awesome. I had lunch there with 3 others and they fed us well. Excellent !!! Then I went in with my husband and 2 other couples for dinner, So 6 of us and they accomodated us not only at the bar there was no wait to be seated when we were ready for dinner, the place was booming with people, The Dinners are phenominal and they have a wine list you couldn't dream of. I went in again for dinner this past week, just my husband and I ,dinner was great again and they had a tuna special that made me clear my plate. LOL!!! My husband had there strip steak and it was huge. We had so much fun. Then our waitress brought out a dessert tray to die for. She had us sold on 2 desserts and wine to finish up. thanks Amy !! the atmosphere is wonderful and fun. We went to the bar after and had some of there martininiz, we had another couple we knew that was also there join us and had martinis and drinks. FUN FUN FUN !!! Thanks Infusion for being welcoming and something to look forward to for spring !! I hear your going to have a outdoor patio?

Toyfest Cancelled

This is truly the saddest news I can think of in regards to our fine community. The thought of a year without Toyfest is such a shame.
The unique village of East Aurora is disappearing. Do two and a half days of Toyfest really create so much havoc and parking problems? I live on a street perpendicular to Main St, and it gets packed with cars. It also gets packed with young families bringing their children with smiles on their faces, walking by admiring all of the charming homes. I deal with it, our neighbors deal with it, and the thought of complaining never even crossed our minds.
While I realize that the decision to cancel this years festivities had multiple considerations, I'm growing increasingly frustrated by the short sighted, head in the sand mentality that some seem to perpetually exhibit. C'mon, we're supposed to be a "community".

I would have to defer to one of the local businesses responses to EastAurora.Org's survey. We are 100% in favor of the ice rink on Riley.
There is plenty of party behind Pink and behind the Village Kitchen. For some Aurorans, there is a parking problem if they can not find a spot within 5’ of the door. It’s OK to walk 20 yards. It’s healthy.
If the rink is not build, it will be a wasted opportunity. We then will have a parking problem. The problem will be that no one is parking.
Last week I counted available, marked parking spots next to the Village Kitchen and on the street. I believe it was 53 parking spots, and those are almost always open. No one uses the on street parking on Riley under normal circumstances. I too have been in the primary parking lot near Wilson Farms when its busy, and parking is difficult. But walk 50 more feet and theres 30+ parking spaces to the right of Village Kitchen. So again, under normal circumstances, there are 50+ spots which don't get used on a regular basis.
